Terms of Service

1. What Treebie is

Treebie gives makers a public page for their startups — with revenue numbers that can be verified by connecting a payment provider (like Stripe) in read-only mode. Public leaderboards and a directory rank makers by that verified revenue.

2. Your account

You need an account to build a page. Keep your credentials safe — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Treebie.

If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us right away at jacob@modernmaker.xyz.

3. Your content

You own everything you put on your page — your name, bio, images, and startup details. By publishing, you give us permission to host and display that content publicly (that is the point of the product), including on the leaderboard, directory, and social previews.

Do not upload content you do not have the rights to, and do not impersonate anyone.

4. Revenue verification

When you connect Stripe, you grant Treebie read-only access. We compute aggregate figures (like monthly and all-time revenue) and cache them to display on your page. We never see or store your customers’ personal details, and we can never move money.

A “verified” badge means the number came from a connected provider — it is not an endorsement, audit, or financial statement. Manually entered revenue is never marked verified.

Faking revenue — by manipulating a connected account or otherwise — gets your page removed.

5. Payments

Building a page is free. Publishing requires a one-time unlock: $23 for one year or $40 for lifetime access. No subscription, no recurring charges. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details.

If Treebie is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

The lifetime unlock lasts for the lifetime of the product. We plan to run Treebie for a long time, but if it ever shuts down, “lifetime” ends with it.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Treebie for anything unlawful, to spam, to scrape other makers’ data at scale, to misrepresent revenue, or to interfere with the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Profit Tracker Bot

If you opt in, Treebie may automatically post your revenue milestones (for example, crossing $10k) to social media from our accounts, mentioning your page. You can opt out at any time in your dashboard; opting out stops future posts.

8. Ending things

You can stop using Treebie and delete your page at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Fees already paid are non-refundable outside the 14-day window in section 5.

9. Disclaimers

Treebie is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it fast and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free revenue figures (they depend on third-party APIs). Nothing on Treebie is financial, investment, or legal advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For meaningful changes we will note the new date at the top of this page; continuing to use Treebie after a change means you accept it.
